I’ve been inundated with those automated calls on my mobile - they’re coming from my own area code and even my local number, which makes you think it’s the real deal. However, as soon as you pick up, it’s like opening Pandora’s box - the calls just keep pouring in from various different numbers. It’s absolutely maddening!

I received a rather persistent phone call from this number, ringing me three times in rapid succession. Curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to return their call. The initial attempt ended abruptly with a disconnect. On my second try, I was met with a recorded message that stated, "Thank you for contacting customer service. To speak to an agent, please press 1. If you wish to be added to our do not call list, press 2." Naturally, I opted for the second option. The next recording confirmed my number and prompted me to hit 1 to verify my request for the do not call registry. After pressing 1, however, I was once again greeted with, "thank you for contacting customer service" before getting cut off. Curiously, at no point did they disclose their identity. Subsequently, I've decided to block this number from my device.
