Oh, the bliss of having a voicemail! Just after 11 on the 19th of December 2020, my landline rang with a call from 0012074312672. I decided to let the voicemail handle it. Unsurprisingly, they didn’t bother to leave a message. A bit of digging reveals it's likely an American call. Probably another scam attempt, trying to gather the date, time, and details that can be exploited for more cold calling and dodgy schemes. Just to clarify, I don’t know anyone in the States. Then, a mere 20 minutes later, my phone buzzed again, this time from 01408328101, with the same outcome - a silent voicemail! Apparently, this number is linked to the Highlands of Scotland, but I've got no connections there either. Looks like today might be a bit of a long one, wouldn't you say? 😂
