Loads of times lately ive gotten calls from numbers like this, the people on the other end say they're from some federal agency, something to do with Social Security and that my identity got nicked. The voices sound like they're from india or somewhere in the middle east, really strong accents. When i tell them i know it’s a scam, they just say rude stuff like “suck my d*ck ma'am”. From what ive heard, proper government people dont ring you up like that, they usually send letters instead, so i reckon this is all dodgy.
