I got a call from this number claiming to be "CORY" from the Canada Revenue Agency, asserting they needed to discuss an issue regarding my tax return.
In my opinion, this could very well be a hoax, a fraudulent operation designed to trick people.
I tried ringing the number back from a private line, and the voicemail I encountered was nothing like what one would expect when calling the Canadian tax office. Proceed with care!

A chap named "CORY" from Revenue Canada rang me regarding some supposed issue with my tax return.
I’m quite convinced this is a hoax, possibly a ruse designed to con unsuspecting individuals.
I decided to ring the number back using a withheld number, and the voicemail I encountered was utterly unprofessional and didn’t resemble anything you’d expect from Revenue Canada.

I had a phone call from this number today. Someone claiming to be "CORY" from HM Revenue and Customs, wanting to discuss an issue with my tax return.
I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of this call; it feels to me like a scam or a piece of trickery designed to deceive.
