10 yearsI received a rather dubious phone call where the caller claimed that my interest rate was being lowered to 6% due to my exemplary payment history. Curiously, he asked me to confirm my birth date and the expiration date of my card. When I asked him to provide the details of my Visa number so I could ensure accuracy, he refused, stating that he had no information at all in front of him. He also inquired about the three-digit security code on the back of my card, which I outright rejected as I was not at ease sharing such sensitive information.
