I received a rather alarming voicemail claiming that there's a warrant out for my arrest, supposedly from the IRS. They warned that if I don’t return their call, the arrest would take place. How melodramatic! The IRS typically sends a letter first, and according to Californian law, they need to communicate with you directly in person before sending any kind of correspondence. Not to mention, they don't leave ominous voicemails demanding callbacks. I can only imagine the kind of nonsense they'd try to get you wrapped up in if you do call back-probably fishing for your bank details or payment info. It's utterly ridiculous! Do steer clear of this nonsense. What a dubious profession to be involved in. Absolutely pathetic!

I received a rather alarming voicemail claiming there’s a warrant for my arrest due to the IRS allegedly preparing to take me into custody. They insisted that I must return the call or face immediate repercussions. Quite laughable, really. The IRS is obliged to send a formal letter before escalating to such drastic measures, and California law dictates they must communicate in person first. A voicemail demanding a callback is definitely suspicious. I can't help but wonder what their true intentions are if you return the call-likely trying to extract payments and banking details. Utterly dreadful! Beware of this scam, folks. What a shameful racket to be involved in! Pathetic!

Received a rather alarming voicemail claiming to be from HMRC, stating that I’m due for arrest at home within the hour! They seem rather keen on extracting money from me. Quite the scare tactic, if you ask me!
