I received a rather alarming call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, identifying himself as STEVEN HERNANDEZ. He alleged that I was involved in tax evasion and that I would soon receive some official documentation regarding a court appearance, stating that I supposedly owed £1500. This has thrown me into a state of confusion as I’ve always been diligent in paying my taxes and contributions throughout my working life. What on earth should I do? He even hinted at the possibility of my bank account being frozen. I’d greatly appreciate any advice or support on this matter!
