I recently had a rather peculiar phone call from this number. An African American woman was on the other end, inquiring if she could have a word with me, albeit she stumbled over my surname. When I replied, “This is me,” she abruptly disconnected the call. It’s quite apparent this was an attempt at phishing, which is somewhat unsettling, especially since my debit card was recently jeopardised due to the Target data breach. Although I've since had the card cancelled, the coincidence of this call coming right after that incident is very curious indeed. I shall be reporting this incident to the authorities.
