Phone number ☎️ 203494853 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving calls from individuals claiming to be Microsoft or Windows technical support, often speaking with a noticeable Indian accent. They falsely assert there are issues with the recipient's computer and attempt to gain remote access. Many recipients find the calls aggressive and pressuring, while some report repeated calls despite requests to stop. The numbers involved frequently appear incomplete or disguised, complicating blocking efforts. Callers may be automated or live, but their tactics are deceptive, and legitimate Microsoft representatives do not initiate contact in this manner. Users are advised to avoid engaging, not to provide personal or computer access information, and to report or block these calls where possible.

12 yearsYep, totally a scam, don’t pick up! Some bloke with a thick Indian accent who could hardly get his English out claimed my Windows was sending tech error reports and said he was from Microsoft wanting to fix the problem... except I don’t even have a PC, I’ve got a MacBook. I just kept him on the line for a bit though. He asked me to press some keys so he could get remote access to my computer, so I pretended to comply, keep saying it must be too damaged to respond. Eventually he got annoyed. I told him flat out I knew it was a scam because I don’t use Windows, only a MacBook, and that I’d call Microsoft, report it to any government body that’ll listen, and that I was recording the call, including the dodgy number (not even a standard 10 digits), and I’d share everything with the authorities. He suddenly goes “That’s great” and just hangs up. Classic.Microsoft12 yearsLook, if I handed you some money to clean up mess with your bare hands, you'd probably just get on with it. Garbage bag, honestly.12 yearsToday I got a call from 203-494-853 and the person on the line sounded like they were from India, saying they were from Microsoft tech support. After a bit of back and forth, they gave up and ended the call.Microsoft12 yearsI got a few calls from the same number earlier, rang me thrice actually. The first one came up as "Unknown" on my phone, but the next two had the caller listed as being from "Egypt." Luckily, my phone stopped them since they aren’t saved in my contacts, so I didn’t answer and I’m clueless who they were.Egypt12 yearsGot a call from an unfamiliar number but they didn’t leave any voicemail. I usually just ignore calls from numbers I don’t recognise.12 yearsAbout a few seconds after I picked up, there was a weird tone and then a robotic voice said "Goodbye." I can't block the number though since it's missing a few digits.12 yearsGot calls from the same number two times, both times they were going on about some problem with my computer. As soon as I began firing back with questions, they just cut me off. Anyone know how I can block that number for good?12 yearsI usually don’t pick up unfamiliar numbers till I find out who’s ringing. It’s crazy how many I just let go to voicemail! I wonder if people actually answer that many calls for it to pay off?12 yearsGot a phone call today around 3:25pm here in Barrie, ON, Canada. Just like someone mentioned before me, I noticed a weird beep and then a recorded voice came on saying "Goodbye". Definitely sounds like one of those robo-calls, so I’m gonna block the number ASAP.BarrieONCanada12 yearsGot a call today from someone saying they were from Windows Technical Support. They claimed my computer had sent error reports to Windows and they were calling about those issues. I asked if they actually worked for Microsoft, and they insisted they were contractors hired to fix Windows problems. We all know Microsoft doesn't have a team out calling people about errors like that. When I asked them to send proof by email, they just said they could "show it" online instead. Honestly, with those strong Indian accents and the way they pushed me, it’s obvious it’s a scam. Don’t fall for it, Microsoft wouldn’t contact customers this way.MicrosoftUnited States12 yearsReceived a couple of calls from this number, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. I warned him a couple of times that I'd report him to the Do Not Call list, but he got all pushy and argumentative. Ended up just hanging up. I added the number to my blocked list, but since it's only got nine digits, I’m not sure the block will actually do anything.MicrosoftDNC12 yearsCome on people, let's be honest... these calls are obviously all from scammers. I just wish there was a way to make their systems crash completely. Also, why do these numbers always seem to miss the last digit? The best thing, if you’ve got the time, is to drag the chat out until they get so fed up they hang up. It’s such an aggressive attitude they’ve got; they seriously deserve a proper kick up the backside.12 yearsGot a call today from what I guess was some automatic dialler. It rang a couple times then I heard a pre-recorded voice just say "Bye" and then it hung up. Pretty weird!12 years13th October 2014 This morning I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to have my Dell PC’s registration and licence numbers. I’d only just bought the computer recently. He was pretty pushy, saying my machine was infected and would get worse unless I took action straight away. I told him I don’t deal with phone calls like that, and if he wanted to prove it, he should send an email. It's been about thirty minutes and no email yet, but if it shows up I’m definitely marking it as spam and won’t open it. But now I’m worried - have I just invited more bother by giving them my email? And how on earth did they get details about my new computer in the first place?Dell12 yearsI had a call like this while I was in the US, turned out to be a scam.United States12 yearsI'm from France and the man on the phone had a strong Indian accent when he spoke English. He claimed he was calling on behalf of Windows and warned me my PC was about to break down soon. They supposedly wanted to help me avoid that problem. I told him I wasn't convinced by his story and if my computer did fail, I'd just take it to my local repair shop.12 yearsThey kept pushing too hard. I understand some French and a bit of English. The person phoning me had a strong Indian accent. I told him I didn’t get what he was after and asked him to quit calling. Still, he rang back another four times. I ended up shouting at him to leave me alone but he just wouldn’t stop.Submit Your Own Report (203494853)
