2027381123 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 2027381123 👆 is reported as a persistent scam involving calls from callers falsely claiming to offer government grants, usually promising around £5,000 to £7,000. They often ask recipients to call a specific number and then request an upfront payment of around £200 to £260 to "secure" the grant, instructing victims to visit stores like Walmart or MoneyGram to make deposits. Callers frequently speak poor English, use numbers associated with different countries, and pressure recipients for personal information. The scam attempts to appear convincing by referencing government entities and financial institutions, but no legitimate grants are distributed in this manner. Victims are urged to avoid engagement and never provide money or sensitive data, as this is a fraudulent scheme designed to steal funds and information.

Just had the same thing happen to me, and honestly, I couldn’t catch half of what she was saying. The moment she told me I’d been picked for £7000 from the government, no repayments needed, just spend it well, I knew it was dodgy. Plus, how would they already have all my details? That’s a massive warning sign right there.

I was almost fooled since they called from a DC number but decided to look them up first. Glad I did because it turned out to be a scam, got flagged right away when I googled it. Thank goodness I double-checked before trusting them!

Got a call from this number as well, they say they’re from some grant department. The person told me to head over to Walmart and put in $260 as a way to confirm my identity. Honestly, watch out because our government wouldn’t ask you to do something like that.

This number is involved in a two-step scam... They ring you pretending to be from the Democratic Party, claiming you’ll get money from the Federal government: some department like Health and Senior Services... They mention deposits from the Federal Reserve bank, something like $7000 for “good use”. The initial call came from 222-222-2245. Then, they tell you to speak to a “Senior Officer” to finalise things, and ask you to head over to a Western Union to make a call. They want you to take your phone, photo ID, and £260 in cash with you.

There’s a bunch of scammers who don’t speak English trying to swindle you out of £260. They probably already have some of your details and are just after more info, hoping to trick those who’ll hand over their cash easily. Nobody has ever actually gotten £7,000 from them, believe me. Our government doesn’t operate like that at all. These scammers are just nasty people who target folks desperate for money, counting on them to not be thinking straight. Seriously, don’t waste a second on these con artists.

It's a total scam, honestly, they claim they're part of the federal reserve but it's just not true. They really deserve to be locked up for this.

These people are total scammers just preying on people who are working their socks off.

I swear, these scammers are everywhere and it’s ridiculous that the government doesn’t do anything about it. Sometimes I even wonder if they’re in on it themselves! What a mess.

Got a call from a number I didn't know, saying I was eligible for a £7,000 grant from MoneyGram. They told me to ring this number to claim it, but when I dialled, the number wasn’t even active. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Got a call claiming I was eligible for some kind of grant from the US Government. They kept insisting I ring this number, 202-738-1123, right away. I kept brushing it off with a "Yeah, sure." The lady on the line, who barely spoke English properly, seemed to get more annoyed. Obviously, I never dialled back or shared any details.

This bloke is definitely a scammer. He tried the exact same trick on my mum. When I grabbed the phone and told him I knew what he was up to, he just ended the call. Then he rang again shortly after, threatening my mum and saying he was going to send someone to hurt us at home. These sorts need to be stopped for good.

Got a call from these lot earlier, and honestly, it felt dodgy straight away. The stuff they were saying about me was ridiculous. To make things worse, I struggled to understand since they weren't even speaking proper English. Definitely seemed like a scam to me.

I got a call from some folks saying I owed around £6000 and needed to ring this 202 number. When I dialled it, a bloke picked up and said he had to check some details about me. Then he asked if I knew what a MoneyGram was, which I said I did, and right after that, the call just cut off.

I’ve had a couple of dodgy phone calls claiming the government is giving me a grant. First time, they said it was $10,200, and all they wanted was my debit card details to “send” the money. Today, I got a call from a number in Mauritania, Africa (011-222-222-2245), this time offering $7,000. They told me to ring 202-738-1123 with a security code to get the cash same day. When they asked to double-check my address, which they had wrong, I refused to share the correct one and that really got the guy annoyed. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call telling me I had a £7000 grant waiting. They said I need to rush to the nearby Money Gram and get a Green Dot card, then load £260 to "lock in" the grant. Supposedly, after 5 minutes, £5260 would appear. Haha, yeah right, nothing's just handed out for free!
