Each time I answer, they seem to quickly disconnect, and on occasions when I let it ring, all I hear is a repeated, rather annoying "Hello, hello, hello." I can't help but wonder, who on earth are these people and what on earth are they after? It's becoming rather exasperating!10 yearsThis bunch contacted me, saying I could snag grant money for my studies. They even prepped me on how to answer their questions. Afterwards, they insisted I keep that training a secret. Then they switched me to a recorded line, so I passed the phone to my husband. They kept calling him “Mrs.” and used all sorts of rude words when I was on the line. When asked if I’d been coached, he admitted it and they hung up on him super quick. They claimed to be from Ohio but wouldn’t say which town. Honestly, just ignore these calls and block the number. These scammers should be locked up somewhere, like some jail in Ohio or wherever.. There was some noise in the background too, maybe a TV or people talking, it was hard to focus. While I was still on the call, my partner quickly looked up the number and told me it was flagged as a scam. Right away I confronted the caller, asking why their number showed up as a known scammer.
