Somebody rang me pretending to be from HMRC, sounding heavily Asian accent, and told me I'd missed paying my income tax. They even threatened I'd be arrested if I didnt sort it out! Totally felt like a scam.

Got a voicemail from someone with a thick Asian accent saying they were from HMRE, warning me about a warrant because I supposedly messed up my income tax. Total scam, don’t fall for it!

I received a call from this number, and the individual on the line claimed to be from the Canadian Revenue Agency. However, when I reached out to the CRA using the official contact number listed on their website, they confirmed they had no record of any attempt to contact me. It seems to me that this number is most likely a scam.
