Got a missed call from a number I didn’t recognise, and later they left me a voicemail. They never said who it was, just asked me to ring 1300653554. Bit weird that they didn’t introduce themselves though.

I got a call about some Covid-19 support from St George bank, but I don’t even have an account with them, so it definitely feels like a scam to me.

Honestly, these calls are a complete waste of time, and I refuse to pick up from any private numbers, no exceptions. You'd think Dun & Bradstreet would be more clued up - I used to work as an Investigator, and I follow the law properly. From today, 16 November 2020, I want their private number (1300653554) blocked, so they don't contact me again. Thanks.

Sounds like it's a debt collector, I think Optus often hires them here in Australia.

When I rang back, all they gave me was a reference number to mention, but they never told me who they actually were.
