I got an email that looked fishy, it said the number was for RecoveriesCorp. But when I checked, the number and address in that email didn’t line up with what’s on the official website of the company. Plus, the email came from an IP in Amsterdam, yet the company is meant to be in Melbourne, Australia, which seemed really odd to me. Also, the email was sent to an address I use that often gets loads of spam and dodgy emails, so I wouldn’t trust it at all.

I'm pretty sure this is just some kind of spam!!

Got a call from someone telling me I owed an outstanding visa fee and needed to pay right away. I checked the number with AGL and it’s definitely not connected to them. The caller refused to give her name or any real company details, only saying she was from AGL. Turns out, this Recovery Corp they mentioned doesn’t even exist. Be very careful and DO NOT give out your bank or AGL account info to anyone claiming this.

Got a call from this number saying they were with AGL and wanted to talk only to an inmate in prison. Bit odd, right? They insisted it was just for that person.

It's ridiculous how often I get calls from a withheld number, and then they just leave some message. Proper annoying!

Had loads of calls from this number about some “sensitive issue”. A lady claimed she was with AGL but kept saying I had to confirm some details before she could tell me what it was about. Watch out for this one.
