I received a dodgy phone call claiming that I needed to verify my information due to an outstanding balance with the Commonwealth Bank. The thing is, I’ve never even held an account with them! I decided to give the bank a ring myself, and they assured me it’s definitely a scam - 100% fraudulent!

I spoke to one woman who had a voice that reminded me somewhat of the folks from China. It was all a bit baffling, really!
