2 yearsWe’re being hounded by con artists over a debt that dates back more than three years, and now it’s spiralled into a ridiculous amount. It’s infuriating, as we never even utilised their services in the first place!4 yearsHonestly, these foolish scammers haven't a clue how to pull off their tricks. What a bunch of gullible fools!5 yearsI’ve been receiving a barrage of messages from an unknown number that’s blocked, making it impossible for me to shut them out. This outfit, Black Collections, was deregistered on the 30th of August 2020, and it appears the ACCC had them in their crosshairs for some rather dodgy credit and deception activities (you can read more here: https://asic.gov.au/about-asic/news-centre/find-a-media-release/2020-releases/20-261mr-debt-collection-company-and-director-charged-with-credit-and-deception-offences/). Furthermore, the so-called National Default registry they keep mentioning is nothing but a defunct entity, having been deregistered on the 26th of January 2020. Quite the shoddy operation, I must say!Black CollectionsACCCNational Default5 yearsI've been informed that I have an outstanding balance on an OPENPAY account, which is quite puzzling as I don't actually possess one.5 yearsReceived a dodgy call from someone claiming to be "Black," insisting that I'm in debt for a sum of £541.95 to a pharmacy overseas. Quite the cheek, I must say!6 yearsI can assure you that I have no outstanding debts with Danoz Direct whatsoever. In my younger days, I was employed there, but it’s been two decades since I've made any purchases, and I’ve always settled my bills in full at the time of sale. What I'm receiving now is clearly some sort of fraudulent message and has nothing to do with Danoz Direct. My advice? Just block or delete it without a second thought. Don't engage with it at all!Danoz Direct6 yearsI’m aware that I’ve got a singular debt hanging over me, but the figure they keep sending is way off the mark. At first, I was bombarded with two or three texts weekly, but now it's down to just once a month or every couple of months. Each time I receive one, I simply block the number. The frustrating bit is that the messages don’t even display a number to block properly; I just end up cutting off the details from the message. It usually buys me a month of peace before I hear from them again.6 yearsI've been hounded by some rogue debt collectors for a loan I never took out. This number needs to be blocked immediately!7 yearsI'm perplexed as to why I've received a notice regarding a debt that needs to be settled.7 yearsIt seems to me that there’s a bit of a con going on! I'm experiencing the same thing, you see. I informed them that I settled my dues five years back. Yet, out of the blue, they've started bombarding me with emails and texts insisting that I owe them money! It’s quite perplexing, to say the least!7 yearsI’d really appreciate if you could let me know if you’ve managed to sort out your issue, as I’ve just encountered something rather similar myself. I received a phone call along with a text message, but when I asked them to email me the invoices, it turns out they claimed there were none to send. To make matters worse, I’ve not received any emails at all!Submit Your Own Report (01300 139590)
