Following up on what I said before about 121600... I reckon the reason people ring this number is because they’ve left a dodgy voicemail there, especially for Vodafone users without voicemail set up. When you listen, it’s pretty obvious it’s a scam right from the start. I usually don’t bother listening fully, just trash the message straight away. You can decide for yourself if it’s genuine or not, but it struck me as a scam instantly.

Got a call from +61428266504 and looks like it’s connected to 121600. Seems like a scam, be careful!

Got a dodgy text saying I missed a call at 17:52 on 26/05/2022. They told me to ring 61870922529 back. If I wanted to find out about Call Catcher or stop messages, I could freephone 121600. Felt like a total scam to me!

I got a call from +61 492664543, but I think the actual person's name was different from what they said. Seems like they might be using another number or pretending to be someone else. Pretty confusing, really.

On the 13th of January 2022 at about 8:18 in the morning, I got a call. They actually left a voicemail asking me to ring them back, but the number was just 121600. Bit odd, really.

Totally a scam, loads of numbers like this popping up. Just keep blocking them.

The number 121600 seems to be from Call Catcher, which I believe is genuine. However, the actual number sending the text is dodgy. Have a look at your call log. The message says you missed a call, but that number isn't actually showing up there. They're trying to fool you by including the 121600 number so it appears trustworthy. The text comes from a scammer, probably trying to push some dodgy insurance or get you to pay upfront fees. Best to just block it and ignore.

I had a missed call from +61294694818 but I didn’t pick up. Later on, I got a text from them about a free call to 121600. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

I tried ringing Centrelink back on this number and they told me it’s not one they use. Seems like a definite scam to me.

Got a text asking me to call back, felt a bit dodgy to me.

Never rang this number before, yet this bloke said he was just calling me back. Then he went on to text saying I was the one who called him first. Seems pretty dodgy to me!!
