Definitely a dodgy number, they’re probly attempting to hack your accounts. Best just block it and maybe let the cops know about it.

I’m in PEI, Canada, and these calls just keep coming. I’ve got a call blocker, but every time it blocks one number, another pops up instead. This latest one seems like it’s from RBC’s telemarketing team, probably outsourced. I’m done with this hassle - gonna contact the bank straight away and sort this out. Enough of these constant calls!

Just thought I'd mention, CIBC sometimes rings from a US number as well! But this one, wow, it’s annoying - rings me up like three times every single day, no matter what time. I just don’t pick up anymore!

So, I got a call from this number today. They called me a couple of times yesterday but missed it each time. When I answered today, the lady said she was from RBC and asked straight away for me by name. She mentioned wanting to go over my accounts. I told her I already had a review recently, and she just said she'd note it down. Feels a bit dodgy to me. Plus, the phone number was eleven digits long, which is odd because where I live in Canada, phone numbers are only ten digits.

Can someone please take me off this phone list? I'm getting nonstop calls from this number, and it's really annoying. They ring at all sorts of times, and I’ve avoided picking up since the caller ID says it’s from the US.

So, the caller said they were from Royal Bank's head office in Mississauga, but I kinda lost my cool with the woman on the phone. It was the first time anyone stayed on the line rather than just hanging up. I’m convinced it’s a scam since my phone provider shows the call coming from the US, not Canada. I reckon you should ring up Royal Bank yourself and tell them to stop sharing your info or you'll take your account elsewhere. I had the same thing happen a few months back with another number. I even spoke to a manager at Royal Bank, and they promised me this wouldn’t happen again because they don’t want to lose customers. Best to do the same!

Turns out it was the Royal Bank ringing me. I got them to add me to their do not call list because they kept contacting me about my accounts. The person I spoke with warned me I might miss out on offers, but assured me they’ll only get in touch in case of any security problems. It was definitely worth it - I think it took nearly a month before the calls finally stopped since they use an automated calling system. They just keep ringing if you don’t request to be taken off the list.

I've gotten quite a few calls from them lately: - 19th November around 1:39 in the afternoon - 20th November about 2:22 PM - 3rd December twice, once at 4:34 then at 7:52 in the evening - 5th December at 4:21 PM - 6th December at 2:16 PM It's getting a bit irritating now. They're ringing from the US, but here I am, living in Canada!
