5 yearsI received a pre-recorded message purporting to be from my "broadband provider"-though they didn’t bother to mention the name of the company. The message warned that my internet would be cut off within the next couple of days supposedly due to some vague "illegal activity." As soon as it prompted me to "press a button," I promptly hung up. I have a strong suspicion this is just a scam. Honestly, if it were a legitimate call, it wouldn’t be a recorded spiel, and they certainly would have identified themselves properly!5 yearsGot a call with a recorded voice saying it was from my internet company, but they never said which one. They warned me my internet would be cut off in 24 to 48 hours because of some illegal stuff they didn’t explain.
