That said, if you choose to go with them, don’t pay anything until the job’s finished and it’s the price you agreed on. I’m not using them myself since I know my way around websites, but maybe they could help you get sorted out.

No! Don’t go blaming your domain provider, the issue is you haven’t gotten or set up whois protection. If you head over to who.is and type in your domain, you’ll see your address and phone number there. With whois protection, you can keep all that stuff private.
