Friday the 16th of September at 4:44 PM, I received a charge of £185.63 listed as Service No. 50:01 for the number 09846533525 on my BT bill. I'm absolutely baffled by it, as I can't remember engaging with this service or any potential scam. What on earth is going on?

I received a call from this number and, regrettably, I decided to return the call to find out who it was... To my dismay, it turned out to be a recorded message service, and I ended up being hit with an £11 charge! So, take heed-if you receive a call from this number, for heaven's sake, don't bother calling back!
