Got a call from someone with a sort of Asian accent claiming to be from BT Openreach. They said they needed to switch my internet frequency from a number starting with 700 to one starting with 500. Asked what I used my internet for and mentioned that loads of people nearby are having issues, and this was BT’s way of fixing it. If it was legit, I’d have thought BT would have sent a letter first, especially because I never pick up for cold calls.
