I've just noticed a similar charge on my statement. The landline at our place isn't even connected as we hardly ever use it; we’ve only kept it since it’s required for our internet service. Yet, there’s a whopping £30.00 extra tacked onto our bill!

To my dismay, I've noticed an addition of over £30.00 on my bill for a call that was neither placed nor received. Quite disheartening that Sky permits such occurrences!

Upon reviewing our phone bill for July 2011, we stumbled across a familiar number that appeared on it. Alas, we definitely did not make any calls to that line. A quick search revealed that it's associated with adult entertainment - some sort of sex hotline, it seems? How peculiar!

I've received several calls from this number, and they never bothered to reveal who they are. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
