I recently received a phone call that claimed to be part of a so-called 'Emnit survey' about my eco-friendly practices. After that initial call, I was inundated with follow-ups just a few days later, each one referencing that earlier "survey" and trying rather shamelessly to insist, "We're a reputable company." It seemed at least four different individuals were ringing me, and it eventually became evident that a representative was angling for a home visit! In summary, it's a rather dodgy (and quite frankly, illegal) tactic aimed at securing a sale down the line!

I attempted to dig up some information regarding a certain company, namely OVEDI or Weipack Packaging Group e. K., located at Maybachstr. 33, 90441 Nuremberg. Their telephone number, (0911) 39480-0, appears to be outdated. However, I keep receiving calls from the number 0911 3948010. What’s rather amusing is that my phone never actually rings! I only receive a text notification about a missed call, despite my phone being on and at the ready due to work obligations. Quite the curious situation, if you ask me!

Jeden Tag höre ich das Klingeln von diesen nervigen Taugenichtsen. Heute habe ich mir sogar die Zeit genommen, sie anzurufen, doch anscheinend muss ich dafür eine ganz andere Nummer wählen. Ich hab’s wirklich satt mit diesen ständigen Anrufen, ganz zu schweigen von all diesen merkwürdigen Gewinnspielen und dergleichen. Es ist einfach nur lästig!

Ich habe kürzlich an einer "Umweltumfrage" teilgenommen. Die Fragen waren recht professionell; alles über die Art des Bodenbelags, Haustiere und so weiter. Zunächst war ich sogar richtig überzeugt von der Sache. Aber ich vermute, dass bald ein Vertreter für Staubsauger vor der Tür steht... Ach ja, und dann gibt’s noch dieses “Gewinnspiel”, bei dem man sich eine Nummer notieren soll. Wenn man dann ausgewählt wird, kriegen sie einen sowieso wieder zu fassen. Oh je, was für eine traurige Welt!
