The man insisted that my son give him our visa card details to fix a supposed virus and urged him to pay immediately. My son was in a panic, trying to convince me to pay right away to save his computer. However, I refused to hand over my visa card and this led to an argument between us, while the man patiently waited on the line. Eventually, I hung up and attempted to shut down my son's computer, only to realize that the man had gained access to his Surface Pro. Prior to my arrival, he had guided my son through a series of steps that allowed him to manipulate the computer remotely. To get rid of the intruder, I had to crash the computer. My son was truly desperate, and if there had been a visa statement lying on the table, he most likely would have used it. It was certainly a lesson learned for both of us.

On 3rd May, we received our initial phone call from a gentleman who spoke with a distinct Indian accent. He claimed that there existed an issue with our Windows computer. However, I promptly disconnected the call by informing him that we do not possess a Windows computer, although this was not truthful. <br/> Today, we experienced yet another call from the very same individual who went by the name "Barry." He emphasized that his call was of utmost urgency in relation to our Apple computer. How amusing!

Upon hearing an Indian accent, I promptly disconnected the call. Shortly after, my Caller ID displayed a call from 090-956-4622. I decided not to answer and no voicemail was left. This same number called me again within a few minutes, and once again, I chose not to answer.
