Indeed, I can confirm that this was indeed the helpline for Vaillant. It tends to appear on your bill as a rather costly call that you have no recollection of making. It seems there's no alternative route to get assistance without incurring such charges, which is quite frustrating considering you might believe the situation wasn't your doing. Quite disappointing, really.

I received two calls in quick succession - the first lasted 46 seconds, and the second was a mere 5 seconds. I waited around 15 minutes and then decided to look into it. Just a heads up, avoid calling any 09 numbers; they’re usually a bit dodgy. Seems like the whole thing might be a right con!
