I reached out to this helpline as soon as we decided to upgrade our Windows Vista to Windows 7, which was misleadingly indicated on the packaging of the new Windows 7 DVD we purchased from Currys. After a mere 13 seconds on the line, we found an extra charge of £17 on our bill. While it’s fair enough for them to inform users about the £1 per minute rate, they ultimately failed to resolve our issue, leaving us out of pocket. If you find yourself needing assistance, I strongly advise steering clear of these services; you’re essentially flushing your money down the drain.
