1. Be wary of those 50p per minute numbers! Whatever you do, don’t fork out any cash! We received a parking notice for stopping on the roadside, but upon reaching out to both the local council and the police, they both claimed it's not theirs. It's definitely a con!

Took a mere one minute and fifty seconds to process the hotline fee. Do not pay it! We received a parking notice while on the motorway. Upon inquiry with the local authority and the police, they confirmed that this ticket isn't theirs. Clearly, it’s a scam!

Our vehicle was clamped by this outfit in London, and we were told we could file an appeal. However, once we tried to make contact, all we encountered were endless options: press 2, press 3, and so on. In the end, we were advised that call volumes were soaring and to try again later-what a waste, especially for a flimsy five-minute call that cost us seven quid! Ultimately, we managed to get the clamp removed after sorting out a proper parking permit. Quite the saga, I must say!
