I've come across one of those dodgy premium numbers that seem to pop up right after you get a letter telling you you’ve snagged a prize. Calling them sets you back a pretty penny-around £1.50 per minute, if you can believe it! And shockingly, it takes a whopping 7 to 10 seconds just to stumble upon the information you’re after. Apparently, it’s all linked to some 'loyalty awards club' or somesuch nonsense. Proceed with caution, folks!

Just came across one of those annoying premium rate numbers that lures you in with a letter claiming you’ve snagged a prize. It’s a right con, charging around £1.50 per minute, and believe me, it takes ages-usually between 7 to 10 minutes-to get to the information you actually need. Apparently, the company running this little scam is called Loyalty Awards Club. Utterly infuriating!
