I can’t recall dialling this number at all, nor can anyone in my household. It’s baffling to see a charge of £8.19 for a call that’s completely slipped my mind. Seems like it’s linked to the passport office, judging by what others have mentioned.

I reached out to this number concerning my passport renewal and was utterly dismayed to discover that it’s a fraudulent line masquerading as the official Passport Office. Can you believe I was billed £26 for a phone call that barely lasted 15 minutes? It’s absolutely scandalous! I sincerely hope the genuine Passport Office takes the time to investigate this number thoroughly and put an end to these nefarious scammers for good.

My wife stumbled upon this number after doing a quick Google search, and it appears to be nothing more than a scam, possibly set up to swindle people out of their money. If you’re looking to contact the passport office, it’s best to reach them directly at 0300 222 0000 instead.

I've just received my phone bill and it’s a staggering £26 for a call to this number. Turns out it's linked to the passport office. It's absolutely outrageous that they don’t make it clear it's a premium-rate line! I find it pretty shameful that a government department would operate like this. Disgraceful, really!
