I received a pre-recorded call informing me that my TalkTalk services were on the brink of being cut off. They provided me with two different numbers to ring back, but I decided to end the call instead.

I rang this number, 090567229011, back on 16th June 2019. Can’t recall the specifics of the call, but it certainly left a dent in my wallet at a staggering £47! What a shocker!

Avoid picking up calls from 0905 672 9011 at all costs – it's a total scam! They lure you in by promising vouchers in exchange for your answers, but really, they just keep you on the line to drain your pocket. My phone bill showed a shocking 7 minutes and 28 seconds of chatting before I ended the call, and I was hit with a £10.11 charge. It's a right con!

My husband was under the impression he was taking part in some sort of contest for Sainsbury's vouchers when he dialled 0905 6729011. Once he completed the quiz, the message popped up saying "better luck next time" before the call ended abruptly. Unfortunately, that little escapade has tacked an extra £17.45 onto our phone bill!

I was absolutely taken aback when I opened my recent TalkTalk statement to find a charge of £35.62p for a 26-minute call that I didn't even make to that number! TalkTalk insists it came from my landline, but I've adamantly stated that I never placed that call. Now, they’re insisting I must foot the bill! Honestly, it’s a shocking lack of accountability from this number or business.

We're completely baffled by these unknown callers and have no recollection of dialling this number. Is there any chance they can reverse the charges? Just discovered that this call set us back £31.30! We're attempting to reach out to BT now, fingers crossed for a full reimbursement.

I just had a right nuisance with a dodgy call that ended up costing me £39.75! My phone provider isn't taking any responsibility for it, so I've got to foot the bill myself. It's so frustrating! Is there anyone who can take action to prevent others from falling victim to this scam? Surely it shouldn't be this difficult to get the number blocked!

Just had a look at my in-laws' mobile statement and stumbled upon a charge of £17.98 linked to this number for just a handful of minutes. Quite alarming, especially if you're not ready for it. Best to give this one a miss!

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, DON'T CALL!!! My mum dialled in, convinced she had bagged some vouchers, and then lo and behold, just a mere 30 minutes and 1 second later, we were slapped with a bill for £39.90. Absolutely ridiculous!

I found a curious charge of £13.13 for what’s claimed to be a call to this number. It seems, according to earlier mentions, that it might stem from some vouchers I applied for at a supermarket. It's quite alarming, really, as I didn’t actually make any phone call myself; I merely clicked on an ad I saw on Facebook!

Blimey, I've just noticed a £13.50 fee for a ten-minute call to this number. I'm suspecting my missus might have fallen for some dodgy email scam. Oh, I'm definitely having a chat with her when she strolls in from her workout!

I answered a Morrison's ad to get some vouchers and ended up hanging up after a few questions, as it all seemed rather tedious. Now, I've been charged £14.41 and I'm perplexed about how to report this scam to O2. Anyone got any advice on the best way to proceed?

Beware! This number is dodgy. I was instructed to ring it to supposedly claim vouchers from Morrisons. It's best to steer clear and not make that call!

I came across a link claiming I'd won some Sainsbury's vouchers. Naturally, I was intrigued, but then it required me to provide personal information and insisted I call a premium-rate number. A quick search online revealed it was nothing but a scam. Quite the dodgy setup!

Be wary of this phone number, as it’s just set me back over £32! Is there any way we can put an end to these annoying calls?

I’ve just had a chat with Virgin Media regarding this particular number, which unexpectedly deducted £35 from my account. They were really quite supportive and I made sure to direct them to this site as evidence that it’s not a one-off issue. If you’ve also been caught out, I recommend reaching out to your provider’s complaints team.
