I've just been hit with a staggering £28.30 charge for calls to this number, and I'm absolutely furious. I attempted to get in touch with 3 for clarification, but the call got cut off. What a nightmare!

It’s the same old story, isn’t it? My daughter was just having a bit of fun on my phone one morning, and suddenly I've got a £30 charge from this number. O2 insists I’ve got to pay it. How on earth does that even happen? I’m planning to raise it with the Ombudsman. Is anyone else facing a similar issue? It’d be great to team up for a more compelling case. Honestly, I can’t fathom how my four-year-old even managed to get through!

It's high time Apple took stronger measures to safeguard against those dodgy kids' games that rack up ludicrous charges by making calls. This kind of exploitation is beyond reasonable!

I've just received my latest bill from EE, and I was utterly stunned to see £30.73 charged to the number 09053753376. I reached out to EE, and they informed me it was dialled from my handset, lasting a whopping 14 minutes. It's apparently linked to some cupcake-making game app - a right laugh, isn't it? Here’s the thing: 1. I don’t have any children, 2. Cupcakes aren’t really my thing. I’ll be on the phone to PhonePayPlus first thing on Monday when they open. This is beyond frustrating! 😡

Just the other day, my little girl, who's only four, was engrossed in a game and accidentally managed to dial out when she handed me the phone. To my surprise, there were two charges on the statement, totalling just over a fiver - not a huge sum, but a right bother nonetheless. I've since capped my bill so there's no chance of it happening again, but honestly, it should be against the law. There are quite a few unscrupulous types who seem all too eager to take advantage of folks.

I discovered that I had been charged £30 for calls to this number. Quite taken aback, I decided to reach out to EE. To my delight, after just a few minutes on the line, they promptly issued a refund. I must say, I was quite impressed with how swiftly they handled the situation. Cheers, James

I’ve just received a staggering bill of £77, and to top it off, it seems my 3-year-old has somehow managed to run up this charge through an app. I haven’t got the foggiest idea which app it is, as I’ve removed them all in a fit of desperation. EE has washed their hands of the situation, claiming that any apps I’ve downloaded are entirely my concern, despite the fact that my little one surely can’t place a phone call! I guess I’ll have to escalate matters to Apple, Ofcom, and who knows where else next? Oddly enough, EE suggested I ring the number directly - sounds fishy to me, more like a cunning way to line their pockets. It’s utterly infuriating!

I've just had a look at my statement and noticed a charge of £7.35. Given the other reviews on this page, I feel somewhat fortunate. I don't usually call 09 numbers, but I realised that my daughter was using my phone to play games - a bit careless in hindsight. It's quite appalling how these companies can include 09 numbers in children's apps, leaving little ones unaware of the potential costs involved. Thankfully, I was able to sort things out with Three and they’ve kindly issued a full refund, plus they've set up a block on my phone to prevent any extra charges beyond my plan. I suggest that anyone who has faced a higher bill than mine and feels they've been taken advantage of should definitely file a complaint with Ofcom.

I've just received a £94 charge from these chaps, all thanks to my children messing about. How on earth do they manage to pull this off?

I can't believe it, but my daughter was using an app and it has ended up costing me a whopping £146! I'm absolutely heartbroken. The worst part is I have no idea how to figure out which app she was playing on. It's all rather distressing!

I received a rather late-night call on my daughter's pay-as-you-go mobile, but the person on the other end didn’t respond. I'm left wondering who it could be and if picking up such a call would incur any charges. Any insights would be appreciated!

So, my little one was busy having fun on the My Little Pony app when suddenly this number popped up. It seemed to indicate that we were calling it, but my daughter is only five and hasn’t a clue about making phone calls! I was hit with a bill of over £16, and even though it claims it’s £2.20 a minute, we were on the line for a good four minutes. I can’t say I’m particularly chuffed about that!

I've just noticed a charge of £4.74 on my statement for a number I'm completely unfamiliar with. It's quite frustrating to be shelling out money for something I haven't even utilised!

I’ve just noticed a deduction of more than £130 from my account linked to this number, and it turns out my kids racked up charges while playing a game they downloaded. What’s the process to reclaim that money? I'm absolutely livid about the whole situation. It feels incredibly unfair!

I don't have any games installed on my phone, yet I happened to check my online bill and discovered two calls from this number that I'm completely unaware of. They only cost around 60 or 50 pence each, but those charges can really add up over time. I certainly haven't initiated any calls to them; it seems rather unfair and these practices ought to be banned!

I've just noticed a £40 charge on my bill for a 14-minute call that my four-year-old must have accidentally made while playing a game. Thankfully, my phone provider blocked the numbers and generously covered half the cost. But seriously, why are companies allowed to operate like this? I wouldn't mind as much if I had actually downloaded a game for £30, but being left in the dark like this is absolutely infuriating. I've scoured my phone and can't find any trace of the game, so it’s likely that a pop-up from something she was watching on YouTube caught her eye.

I had a rather alarming experience earlier today. I was using a children's app on my old iPhone 6 running iOS8, named 'Cupcake Maker'. When I attempted to ring a particular number, I was left quite anxious about whether I had managed to cancel it before going through. Honestly, I never expected to encounter such a situation on an iPhone, given how tight the security usually is. I've gone ahead and reported the app to Apple as a precaution.

I recently had an annoying experience with a phone number that kept ringing me repeatedly while I was in the middle of playing games. My phone automatically answered the call for some reason, and before I knew it, I had wasted a good chunk of my credit-around six quid in just two minutes! What a nuisance!

What a right kerfuffle! My daughter got a bit carried away with a free game and ended up dialling this number for more than 13 minutes. I fear it's going to set me back by over £35! That's the last time I'll let her loose with that kind of thing. Lesson well and truly noted!

I received a rather unexpected phone call while my daughter was busy with her baby-themed game app. Fortunately, it only lasted for 55 seconds. Curiously, I tried calling back and found out you need to be over the age of 16 to participate, and the charges are a staggering £2.20 per minute! After a quick search online, I stumbled upon this site, which mentioned that the number is quite notorious. I've since deleted the app, fingers crossed she hasn't racked up a colossal bill!

I didn’t even hear the phone buzz, yet for some odd reason, it claims I answered a call from that number. Very strange, considering I never picked up! The line cut off right away too.

I've noticed that in some children's games, like the milkshake one, there's a little pop-up bar. All they have to do is tap on it while they're engaged in the game, and it connects you straight away. The cost is £2.20 for each minute.

I've noticed this number popping up on free games aimed at kids! They’re playing, and suddenly this number dials out without any warning. Get rid of that game right away because it could cost you a pretty penny! How on earth is this allowed?!

Beware of this dodgy premium rate lullaby/music service! My little one somehow racked up a staggering £43 in just twenty minutes. I've no idea how they even accessed this number. Sadly, my phone provider isn't offering any assistance either. Complete nightmare!
