It's rather disheartening to see so many adverts for roles like 'warehouse operative needed', as it seems many of them are just a ruse. Often, after you submit your CV complete with personal details like your phone number, these individuals merely use your information to sign you up for who knows what. Essentially, your data ends up floating around in the wrong hands. Quite the scam, to be honest!

This afternoon, we received a text saying they’re looking for temporary workers at a rate of 150 a day, with more required as it's first come, first served. It advised us to call the given number, but we thought it best to check online first, given the generous pay for temp positions. Glad we took that route!

At present, we're out of work and have a meeting lined up with the Jobcentre tomorrow. We've received text messages from these jokers in the past, and we're definitely going to lodge a complaint with Jobcentre Plus. It looks like the culprits go by the name 'Pinnacle.' Honestly, any vacancies they post should be completely shunned as if they were the bubonic plague, just as someone rightly mentioned earlier. It's utterly baffling why the Jobcentres grant these individuals the opportunity to advertise at all. Preying on those who are already struggling is nothing short of indefensible behaviour!

I received a message saying that there's some work available at £10.50 an hour. When I called the number provided, I realised it was charging me £2.50 a minute and it was just an automated recording. It feels like a rather underhanded scam preying on those who are genuinely seeking employment. Quite disheartening, really.

Earlier today, we received a text from the same number proposing an enticing £180 a day. Regrettably, we made the foolish choice to ring them up but hung up within ten minutes as it became abundantly clear that it was a scam. We'll be heading to the address listed for Hayling Island soon to uncover who’s pulling the strings behind this dubious operation. When we tried their company number, we only got an automated message directing us to ring the 09046 number instead!

I received a text from these folks using a 09046 number, and I noticed right off that they couldn't even spell our name correctly! There were numerous grammatical blunders as well; they wrote "1st come first serve," but really, it ought to be "served," doesn't it? Honestly, it’s baffling how such dodgy individuals think they can get away with this nonsense. I’m absolutely fed up and planning to notify Metro about this lot-let’s hope they take action and expose these scammers!

Received a rather dodgy message from these rogues earlier today. Gave them a bell on the work phone, and, as others have pointed out, this is an obvious scam. We're now planning to spend a few hours hunting down these blokes.

We received a rather dubious text from an "agency" claiming to offer lucrative temp jobs right here in our hometown. They were rather pushy, urging us to call them by throwing around some phrase about "first come, first served." The message was laden with what sounded like nonsense, mentioning things like "50p bill payer" - likely one of those tactics to skirt around the law in this fine country that somehow tolerates such scammers. We're quite curious to find out how they got our information in the first place. By the way, they left a helpline number: 08717500442.

What a disappointing number this is! They want to charge £2.00 a minute, can you believe that?

Have a gander at the site for yourself. It was overseen by Ofcom, a reputable regulator you can rely on. The correct name is phonepayplus.org, based in the UK (apologies for the mix-up in my initial message).

Received a text earlier today and, buoyed by the prospect of landing some work amid these challenging times, I gave them a call. Sadly, it turned out to be yet another scam targeting those of us desperate for employment. It’s infuriating! These scoundrels need to be tracked down, as many of us are just itching to give them a taste of their own medicine. Honestly, they deserve some serious consequences for their actions!
