I've noticed a couple of charges on our SkyTalk bill that have caught my eye. It claims I rang them twice one Sunday: the first call lasting a mere 2 seconds, and the second stretching to about 1 minute and 15 seconds, each racking up a fee of £1.50. What's baffling is that they’ve taken the money using my father's credit card. I've ordered from them before, but it’s been ages since I last did - I definitely would have expected some form of communication if that were the case! I'm currently on the phone with Sky to sort this out and ensure those charges are wiped from our account. Fingers crossed!

I recently noticed this number appearing on our phone bill and I’m a bit baffled about who it might belong to. I suspect it may be linked to the holiday park where we've just made our booking. Has anyone else who’s booked a holiday recently seen this number pop up on their bills? If so, please give us a shout so we can figure out for certain what this number pertains to. Thanks ever so much for your assistance!

I’d appreciate it if someone could clarify whose number this is, as it appears on our bill. It’s a rather pricey premium line, and I must say, none of us remember calling it at all.

Ah, the problem has been sorted! Apparently, there’s been some sort of a drop in prices or perhaps a bet on the TV. It's important to keep in mind that I'm the one making the purchase!

I've encountered the very same problem as David Dunning. This number appeared on our BT bill, and it turns out to be a premium line. The odd thing is, nobody at home has the faintest idea about it.

Hello there! Just wanted to mention that we've never made any purchases through a shopping channel, yet this number keeps giving us a ring. Quite puzzling, isn't it?

Hi there, I just wanted to mention that this line appears to be connected to some outdated bid up or price drop auctions. It's my impression that the previous winners of these auctions aren't likely using this number anymore. Nevertheless, be warned, they still manage to rack up a hefty charge of £1.20 per minute the moment you dial in!

We've recently noticed an unfamiliar charge on our phone bill. Apparently, it’s linked to a shopping channel that our partner had contacted. To make matters worse, he dialled a premium rate number and was promised a call back, which, of course, never happened. Thankfully, no payment has gone through and the product hasn’t been delivered, so that’s a small relief! Nonetheless, we are stuck with those premium rate fees on our bill. It rather feels like someone is cashing in on this, doesn’t it?

It feels like a scene straight out of a TV shopping channel, doesn’t it? Everyone seems to brush it off, but I reckon it’s definitely our dear old mum who's behind this. Classic Sherlock Holmes would surely have a field day with it!

Aha! Problem sorted! It appears it’s either Bid TV or Price Drop TV. We really ought to keep better tabs on our purchases, don’t you think?

This afternoon, I stumbled across some rather odd entries on our BT bill, predominantly around the ungodly hours of 3:00 AM and 4:00 AM. I've lodged a formal complaint with BT, and they've passed it on to their fraud department for further investigation. I truly appreciate this website; without it, I would have remained completely in the dark!

I believe we've fallen victim to a scam. We noticed this dubious charge of £1.27 on our bill, and it was recorded at 13:59 on Christmas Day! We definitely didn't make any calls then. Rest assured, we'll be steering clear of any dealings with them in the future.
