Just like some of you, my missus got a 14 second call costing £1.90. Seriously, the phone companies need to put an end to this sort of thing - no one else seems able to sort it out. Why don’t providers send a quick text back asking ‘did you intend to ring this number?’ They do stuff like that when it suits them, so why not here?

On 8th April, I saw this number call twice, once at 15:48 and then again just a couple of minutes later at 15:50. Both calls showed a charge of £1.16, but we definitely didn't make any of these calls.

I never even picked up the phone but somehow ended up being billed £1.63 for a call that lasted 46 seconds. Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening next time?

I've got a couple of voicemails from 09041619222, one on 8th April at 15:51 lasting 50 seconds, and another on 10th April around 15:26 that was 56 seconds long, both charged about 1.627p per call. Besides those, I also received calls from these numbers: - 09041619444 on 17th April at 13:19 and 13:21, each call about 45 and 46 seconds, same 1.627p rate. - 09041619000 on 20th March, two calls at 09:20 and 09:22, lasting 41 and 46 seconds, with a cost of 1.67p per call. - 09067393030 on 27th May, call at 11:31 that went on for 5 minutes 1 second, costing 6.90p. - 09041619900 on 30th May, two calls close by at 19:53 and 19:55 lasting 43 and 49 seconds, charged 1.627p each. - Also calls from 09041619111 on 27th and 28th January, both around 41 and 45 seconds. - And one from 09041611000 on 6th February lasting about 40 seconds. Altogether, I've racked up about 25.37p in charges. Is there any chance to get some compensation for these?

BT billed me twice for calls I never even took from this number, over £3 charged in total. I always ignore calls from withheld numbers, so not sure how this happened. Feels like some sort of scam to me. This has got to be sorted out ASAP.

So, my mum who's quite old got billed for two calls from this number, both lasting less than a minute and only about two minutes apart. It's ended up costing her more than £3. Can anyone tell me who these people are?

Just looked over my home phone bill and spotted a couple of calls from this number that I’m pretty sure I didn’t make or pick up. One was on the 1st of April around 3:27 pm, and then another came through on the 15th. They labelled the second one as a “Fixed Fee” call, both lasting just a minute each, and I got charged £1.28 for each. Seriously, who do these cheeky scammers think they are, nicking money like that?!
