I noticed I was billed £1.49 for each of two calls made to this number on the 2nd of November, 2011, with just a ten-minute gap between them. When I reached out to PhonePayPlus, they stated they can't look into matters like this and recommended that I get in touch with my phone provider instead. It seems to me that if something suspicious is occurring, it's quite possible that everyone involved is located in the same vicinity. We reside in Shirley, Solihull, and I'll be pursuing this issue further with my telecom service provider.

Received two calls from this number on the 9th of February, and we were billed £1.70 for each of those calls. Quite frustrating! :-(

We found ourselves in a similar situation and decided to give BT a bell. Turns out, the number and the associated charge were linked to the DVLA.
