I just checked my phone statement and it says I called this number and another one pretty much the same on the same day, but I’m sure I didn’t phone either of them. Both calls were exactly 8 minutes and 20 seconds long, and each one charged me £25.85. How on earth could this happen? Is it possible my landline's been accessed by someone else?

My phone's records say I phoned this number two times in less than ten minutes, and each of those calls lasted about 20 mins, costing me £34 each. The weird part is, I dont remember making any of those calls or even know who this number is for. Can anyone tell me who owns this number? Also, how on earth do they get my phone company to believe I made those calls? Any thoughts?
