Ended up being charged over £13 for a call that I never actually made. British Gas knows about the problem but hasn’t bothered to do a thing. Honestly, not surprised - typical of one of the most incompetent firms out there. I’m always battling their terrible, broken systems and the complete absence of decent support! Trying to get hold of them is impossible.

They said they were from British Gas when I checked a site for submitting meter readings. Seemed legit at first, but now I'm not so sure.
