I recently had an encounter with a chap named Marc who decided to ring in. He managed to ruffle my salesperson's feathers to such an extent that I felt compelled to step in. After digging into the various names and addresses he was associated with, as well as scouring a handful of reviews linked to his phone number, I made the decision to steer clear of doing any business with him, especially given the multiple aliases tied to that number. Since that call, he’s taken to bombarding me relentlessly-ringing me every three minutes, no less! His threats about ruining my online business within six months have been quite something. The only recourse I've found is to simply hang up each time he calls. In light of his behaviour, I've decided to take action and am reaching out to his local police, zoning enforcement, tax authorities and so on. This bloke is certainly about to get the attention he’s brought upon himself!

I got nabbed by them as well - paid £7 just for a quick look-up after I got slapped with a speeding fine. Honestly, you'd think the DVLA would put an end to this rubbish by now.

I fell for it as well. Four calls in total, just 10 minutes long, cost me £35! It’s blatant daylight robbery if you ask me, and I’m sure the DVLA knows about this. Something really needs to be done to stop this nonsense, it should be outlawed. To make it worse, it was my daughter ringing up just to make sure she was on the right side of the law... ridiculous.

I got charged £48 just for 15 minutes by these absolute crooks.

I called the DVLA to sort out a mistake they made. After chatting with the person, they put me on hold and I ended up with a phone bill charging me £48.425 for a call that lasted just 18 mins 58 secs! On top of that, I spotted extra charges from the same number ‘cause they told me to ring them back again. Proper rip off!

These scammers are absolute thieves, honestly wish someone’d douse them in fuel and light a match. I ended up spending over £20 on an 11 minute call just trying to follow up on a personalised number plate I got for my missus. Bloody disgraceful. No clue how I even found their number in the first place.

I got hit with a £26 charge for just a ten minute chat from these muppets, it's nuts! Honestly, they deserve to be taken to court.

Just a heads up - this isn't the DVLA directly, it's some middleman who’s passing your call on, which is legal but pretty dodgy if you ask me. You’re better off going straight to their official site, www.dvla.gov.uk, then scroll down for their real phone number - 0300 790 6806. Calls to 0300 numbers cost the same as landlines, so if you’re on a contract mobile with inclusive minutes, it might not even cost you anything. Honestly, next time be a bit more careful! Why on earth would the DVLA use a premium rate number? It makes no sense.

I found this number after searching up the DVLA one, and ended up paying £3.38 for just a 17-second call! Honestly, it's daylight robbery. They really ought to be taken to court for ripping people off like this.

I just got a bill and noticed there were 2 calls to this number at the same time, and they’ve charged me £21.92 for it!

Does anyone know how I can get my money back?

I called the same number and it ended up costing me £5.11 for just 4 minutes, absolute daylight robbery if you ask me.

I called that number on 30/07/2013 as I needed info about applying for a new driving licence before going on a holiday to the States. After being put through an automated system, it took about 6 minutes to finally get someone who just advised me to contact the AA instead. Now, looking at my phone bill, I’m shocked to see I was charged £16.87 for 7 minutes of calls! Does anyone know who I should complain to about these hefty charges?
