Got a call around 11:50 this morning. They were talking about issues with my internet and email. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call today from someone called Franklyn James, an Asian bloke who claimed to be tech support from TalkTalk. He said my internet was full of errors and persuaded me to let him take over my PC remotely to fix some viruses before they spread to other devices in the house. Then he told me TalkTalk owed me £239 for protecting my internet for a decade and needed me to log into my online banking so they could send the money. It all sounded dodgy so I shut down my computer straight away and reported it to Action Fraud. Watch out for this number - they might already know your name and provider and could try to trick you too. Never give them access to your computer or share bank details - real providers like TalkTalk won’t ring you unannounced to fix stuff without you calling first.

I got a call from someone saying they'd refund me, but then they wanted me to use my card reader thing from NatWest. Seemed a bit fishy to me.
