I just got charged £6.67 for a call that lasted barely 10 secs! Seriously, how is this even legal? It feels like someone’s making a fortune from these rip-offs with zero repercussions. Honestly, shoutout to whoever’s already reporting this to their MP or the BBC. But does anyone actually know which regulator handles this kind of thing? I want to make a complaint but not sure where to start.

Last month I got hit with a £10 charge from this number and now this month the same thing happened again, another £10 gone. I’ve never dialled 09015451960 and have no clue who they are. If anyone’s got any tips on how to put a stop to this, please shout. I can’t keep losing £10 from my bank every month for a number I don’t even know. Feeling stuck on what to do next.

I had a parcel supposedly delivered by Evri, but turned out they just snapped a picture of the door of an empty house across from where I live. When I phoned them to sort out a redelivery, I was stung with an additional £21 fee. What annoyed me even more was they never said the call would be premium rate. Honestly, I don’t get why businesses keep using this awful courier service. From now on, I’m steering clear of any shop that sends stuff through Evri.

Just checked my phone bill and was shocked to see I got charged £14 for only two quick calls to the Evri (bloody annoying) automated parcel tracking line. Each call was under two minutes since you can’t even talk to a real person, yet they hit me £7 a pop for it? That’s just wrong. Their website never mentions that this number is premium or how much it costs to call - feels like a scam to me. Plus, their automated system is totally pointless anyway. Proper rip off.

My phone bill has a weird charge of £6.45 for just 2 minutes from this number: 09015451960. I’ve no idea how that got there or how to stop this number from calling me again. Anyone got any tips?

Just got hit with a bill over £12 for a couple of brief calls on my mobile (one was 49 seconds, the other about 3 minutes 16 seconds), all because I was trying to track down a parcel Evri claimed had been dropped off. Turns out it wasn’t mine at all - the photo showed a different doorstep! And ours is the only property with that postcode on the parcel. Didn’t realise these calls cost a fortune until my latest mobile bill came through, usually I don’t pay anything for calls at all. Seriously, only call Evri if you absolutely must!

Totally agree with what’s been said here. Back in August, just two short calls of about two minutes each trying to find a lost parcel ended up costing me £13. Evri really seems to be taking the mick, charging like that. They honestly oughta be looked into properly by the right regulators. Really poor practice on their part.

So, it's Evri again causing trouble! Like some others, I tried calling a number I found on Google to sort out a parcel delivery, and it wasn’t one of those 09 premium numbers - would never call those, way too pricey. But turns out, no matter which number you ring, it gets routed through an 09 line somewhere along the way, and you end up paying through the nose. When you order via Amazon, you often don’t find out which courier is handling your parcel until it’s too late. I’ve decided I won’t be trying to call them again. Next time, if my parcel’s missing, I’ll just get in touch with the seller directly - hopefully they’ll provide a non-premium number!

Hi everyone, my partner got hit with a £30 bill after ignoring a few calls. I've looked into it and found out it’s not actually Evri ringing, but some premium rate number pretending to be them. I reckon loads of you searched “Evri phone number” on Google and probably clicked the first sponsored link without realising it was dodgy. I’m planning to check if Google properly vets these ads because to me, it looks like a scam or some kind of dodgy advertising. I’m going to push this as far as it needs to go. I’ll be reaching out to Evri, my MP, the BBC, The Guardian, Which? Magazine, and others. If you want to keep track of what happens, drop me an email at [email protected] and I’ll keep you in the loop.

I got stung over £30 trying to fix the confusion they caused. Nowhere did it say this was a premium line with extra charges. From now on, I’d rather spend a bit extra somewhere else that’s clearer - might even end up cheaper in the long run. You know what they say, buy cheap and pay double later. They’ve definitely lost a customer here. Honestly, hope they shut down soon. 🦍

Got a message from Evri saying they tried to deliver a parcel while I wasn’t home. I called them back using their app, but when they asked me to enter the tracking number on the keypad, it kept saying the number wasn’t valid. Ended up with a £25.00 phone bill, which I was never told would be a premium rate call. How else would they know I was expecting something in such a small time frame? Feels like this company really needs checking out. I’m definitely going to look into who I can report this to and get to the bottom of it.

I was trying to get in touch with EVRI because my parcel hadn’t arrived, but their website doesn’t show a phone number anywhere on their "Contact us" section. I ended up searching online and found this number 090-154-51960. Didn’t realise it was a premium line and spoke to someone who seemed legit and helpful, acting like they worked for EVRI. After the call, I got hit with a bill of about £14.50, making the whole delivery cost me around £20. Honestly, going to the Post Office would’ve been cheaper! So, I came across this number when trying to find Evri’s contact info. Using Google Lens on a screenshot helped me pull the text, which revealed a small note about a £6 fee. Also, it clearly says the number isn’t officially linked to Evri. Here’s what I found on www.call-helplines.co.uk: They offer an "Evri Connection Service," which promises to put you through to an Evri advisor. You can either click to call from your mobile or ring 0901 545 1960 if you’re on a landline. Just a heads up, the calls cost £6 plus whatever your phone network charges. Plus, this is run by Call Helplines and has no official connection with Evri at all.

I’m with everyone else on this one - don’t bother ringing that number. It’s the only contact listed on the Hermes/Evri site, but nobody ever picks up, and there’s no heads-up that you’re likely getting ripped off. I’ve always thought Hermes/Evri were a bit dodgy, but this just feels like plain cheating. Steer clear of both that number and the company if you can!

I got called by HerMes and nobody picked up! They just kept ringing and it ended up making my phone bill way higher!

This was Evri, or Hermes as they were called before. I rang them because the delivery guy never rang my bell, he just left a card and legged it back to his van - my Ring doorbell caught the whole thing. Wish I knew calling would cost me 65p a minute and there wasn’t even anyone to talk to! Honestly, don’t bother ringing, you’ll just get charged and won’t actually speak to a real person.

On 6th June 2022, I got billed for two calls from this number, but I have absolutely no clue who they are or why they called me.

I got a call from this number and somehow ended up being charged £38. I honestly have no clue who they are or where the number's from. Normally, I never pick up calls from unknown numbers, so this charge is totally unfair.
