£6.67 for merely ten seconds of time? How on earth is that even possible? It seems like someone is cashing in big time without any repercussions in sight! Hats off to anyone who’s brave enough to take this up with their MP or the BBC. I’m curious though, which regulatory authority should we be reaching out to? Does anyone have a clue?

Last month, I saw a £10 charge hit my account for a call I never made to the number 09015451960, and now I’ve been hit with the same fee again this month! I've got no clue who this number belongs to, and it's really starting to bother me. If anyone has any tips on how to put a stop to these charges, I would greatly appreciate it. It’s quite difficult to manage with this £10 disappearing every month. Any advice would be really helpful as I’m at my wit's end with this!

I had quite the experience with Evri recently - they claimed to have delivered my parcel but instead snapped a picture of the door of an empty house across the road from my flat! I've made several attempts to contact them for a redelivery, only to be hit with an additional charge of £21. Not once during the call did they inform me that it was a premium-rate line. It's baffling why any business would rely on such a farcical delivery service. Going forward, I'm steering clear of any retailers that use Evri!

I can't believe I've been hit with a £14 bill for just two phone calls! Absolutely livid! I'm also trying to track down a parcel that was allegedly delivered by some dodgy van driver. I've just had the misfortune of reviewing my mobile statement, and I was quite appalled to find a charge of £14 for merely two calls made to the Evri automated service to hunt down a parcel that's gone astray. Each call lasted no more than a couple of minutes, as there's absolutely no opportunity to speak to a real person - what a farce! Being slapped with a £7 fee for each call is completely unacceptable. It's outrageous, truly. Nowhere on their site do they mention that the number is a premium rate, let alone give any indication of the costs involved when you ring them up. This feels nothing short of a scam, and to top it off, their automated response system is utterly useless!

I’ve recently found myself forking out over £12 for just a couple of brief phone calls from my mobile, one lasting 49 seconds and the other clocking in at 3 minutes and 16 seconds. I was attempting to track down a parcel that Evri claimed had been delivered to me. The kicker? It hadn’t arrived at all- the photo they provided was of a different person’s front door! What’s more, we’re the only residence that matches the postcode on the parcel. I only realised the steep call charges after reviewing my monthly bill, which typically shows no costs for calls. So, a word of caution: unless absolutely necessary, steer clear of ringing Evri!

I noticed a charge on my bill from Three for calling this number. I can't quite recall making that call, but occasionally I ring back to find out who's tried to get in touch. To my surprise, I’ve racked up a bill of £8.29 for that call! It certainly seems dodgy - beware of this one!

Received a text from Evri saying their driver Matthew couldn’t deliver because there was no response at home. They suggested I reschedule my delivery at evri-rebooking.com. I’m usually pretty savvy about these scams, but I was waiting on a gift parcel, so I thought I’d give it a go. I tried reaching out to Evri and ended up chatting with a bot, which was useless without a tracking number, so they cut me off. I called twice but only realised something was amiss when I got a text from O2 saying I’d hit my £5 limit. Thankfully, I had that cap in place!

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments expressed here. Back in August, I found myself charged a staggering £13 for merely two brief calls, each lasting just two minutes, in a futile attempt to locate a missing parcel. This company, Evri, is clearly fleecing customers and absolutely warrants scrutiny from the appropriate regulatory bodies. It’s an utterly shameful approach to conducting business.

Evri has got to be one of the most overpriced and infuriating companies out there. I recently dialled the number 09015451960, and can you believe it? I've come across this number which is supposedly linked to Evri, but after doing a bit of digging, it appears to have no genuine connection to the company whatsoever. Oh, here we go again with Evri, absolute muppets! Like many others, I dialled a number I found on Google while trying to sort out a parcel delivery issue. Thankfully, it wasn’t one of those dodgy 09 numbers, which I would never consider calling because they're daylight robbery! It seems, no matter which number you ring, it somehow ends up being redirected to an 09 service, and before you know it, your wallet’s considerably lighter. The real kicker is that when you place an order through Amazon, you often have no clue which courier will be handling your parcel until it’s far too late. I’ve learned my lesson - if my package doesn't show up, I'll just go straight to the seller instead, fingers crossed for a standard rate number this time!

Hello everyone. My partner has encountered a similar issue, being hit with a £30 bill due to several calls that went unanswered. After doing a bit of digging, it turns out this isn't Evri that's charging us; rather, it's a premium-rate number masquerading as Evri. I suspect many of you searched for "Evri contact number" and clicked the first link-which was likely a sponsored advert. I’m planning to delve deeper into whether Google has actually taken the necessary precautions in letting this ad run, as it comes across to me as a kind of deceitful practice or even fraud. I intend to escalate this matter considerably. I’ll be reaching out to Evri, my local MP, BBC, The Guardian, Which Magazine, and a few others to bring this to their attention. If anyone is interested in keeping tabs on my progress, feel free to drop me an email, and I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

I've ended up losing over £30 attempting to untangle their shambles. There was no indication this was a premium rate line. Therefore, next time I’m definitely opting to spend a bit more elsewhere; it’ll likely save me money in the long run. You know what they say, "buy cheap, pay twice?" It seems to apply here and then some! I've taken my business elsewhere now. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they closed their doors altogether. 🔥

Received a message from Evri stating that they'd tried to deliver a parcel I was eagerly awaiting while I was out. I called their number using the app and was prompted to enter my tracking number on the keypad, but it repeatedly insisted that it couldn't recognise the digits I'd entered. The result? An unexpected £25.00 bill appeared on my account. Nowhere did they mention that this was a premium rate call! The only way they could have known I was expecting a delivery within a two-hour timeframe is if they sent that text. I genuinely believe it's high time someone took a closer look at this company. I’m determined to figure out who I can bring into the fold to get to the bottom of what's really happening here.

AVOID THIS NUMBER AT ALL COSTS! I've just had a look at my recent phone bill, and it turns out I've been stung for £16.38 from attempting to ring Evri regarding my lost parcel, which is still MIA! It’s utterly ridiculous how unreliable courier services are these days!

Be wary of the numbers 09015451960 and 09037244444, as they belong to Evri and Hermes. It's best to avoid calling them altogether because the moment you dial in, you could be hit with a hefty charge of at least £6.00, even if you’re met with silence on the other end!

I've just noticed a charge of £12.63 on my recent bill for a number we’ve never called. My wife and I are both baffled, as we’ve not dialled this at all!

I found myself £27 poorer after two calls, each under a minute long, during which I didn’t speak to a soul. What’s more, I’m completely baffled as to how my parcel got redirected back to me. So, I forked out £5.24 for a package that never reached my customer! Now I’m £32 down and had no choice but to resend the parcel, which set me back another £4.80. I used Royal Mail this time, and surprise, surprise, it actually arrived. Avoid this utterly dire company at all costs!

It's quite frustrating, really. I keep getting hit with charges for calls that don’t even bother to pick up! It's always some automated nonsense. I’ve noticed over £5 wiped from my account, and it's happened twice now!

What a total rip-off! They charge you £6.45 every time you ring up just to speak to an automated voice that doesn't provide any assistance at all. Seriously, steer clear of this nonsense!

I attempted to contact Evri, which used to be known as Hermes, because I was curious about the whereabouts of my parcel that hadn’t been collected yet. Little did I know, this was a PREMIUM rate line! Just a heads-up to everyone out there-steer clear of this number! It set me back a whopping £48!

I’m absolutely appalled to see a £7.30 fee for a single minute of a call that wasn’t even picked up! It’s beyond frustrating; I can’t even express how furious this has made me. This situation is simply unacceptable!

I attempted to track down a package that I was informed had been delivered, only to discover today-upon receiving my bill-that I'd been charged £23! What an annoyance! 😤

I stand with everyone else's sentiments on this - steer clear of this phone number! It’s the sole contact listed on the Hermes/Evri site, yet you won’t get a response, and there’s no heads-up about the potential for being scammed. I've always found Hermes/Evri to be quite hit-and-miss, but this feels downright deceitful. Do yourself a favour and bypass both this number and that company entirely!

I’ve been trying to reach them, but no one picks up! It’s just making my phone charges skyrocket!

It’s Hermes or Evri or whatever they’re calling themselves these days. I tried ringing them up after my delivery chap literally bypassed knocking and just shoved a card through the letterbox before darting back to his vehicle (thanks to my ring doorbell, I caught the whole thing!). Honestly, had I realised it would set me back 65p per minute just to attempt to get through and that there’s no actual human on the line, I would have saved my time. Seriously, steer clear of phoning them - you’ll end up with an empty wallet and no help whatsoever!

I've noticed I've been billed for two calls from this number on 6th June 2022. Quite frankly, I haven't the foggiest who or what this could possibly be.

I received a call from this number and noticed a charge on my account. I have absolutely no clue as to who it belongs or where it originated. I tend to ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers, yet somehow I've ended up being billed £38. This isn't acceptable at all!
