I ended up having a chat with TalkTalk about this, and they said they’d refund me the money I paid and also block any 09 numbers from ringing me again. I’d really recommend everyone to do the same! Also, when it comes to labelling these calls, it’d be great if there was a category specifically for scams or ripoffs!

I got hit with a bill from TalkTalk for more than £13 because of two calls to this number - but I never dial premium rates. When I looked up the number, it seemed like it wasn’t even valid.
