I have no clue how this 09015 228204 number ended up billing my BT account!

According to the statement, it shows I rang that number plus 09015 228203 five times all on the same day (16/12/18). I don’t reckon I actually did, so maybe it’s the voicemail picking it up and charging me. This hasn’t occurred again since around mid-January, and each call was just 28p, so fingers crossed it was just a one-time thing. Though I guess if it kept happening, all those 28p calls would start to mount up for them.

Our BT line blocked this number automatically, so it’s probably some kind of cold call.

What a rip-off! I ended up spending nearly a tenner after I returned their call and left a brief message. Just a word of caution - stay away!

I’ve realised that this phone number is a total scam. Being hard of hearing, I tried to call them back, and it ended up costing me almost a tenner! Thankfully, my mobile provider was kind enough to cancel the charge.
