Just like a few others here mentioned, my missus must’ve put her vote in for one of the finalists on Strictly Come Dancing. So yeah, the call was actually on purpose and legit. Cheers to all who shared their thoughts. Dave & Gill.

This number doesn’t show up in my call history at all, but I got charged 42p for 5 seconds. It all happened within just five minutes or so.

I noticed this number charging me 28p for 6 seconds, not once but like ten times all in one night on my TalkTalk phone bill. The weird thing is, I didn’t actually make any calls to it.

Lately, I've been bombarded with scam calls on my landline almost every day. This latest one stayed silent until I made a noise, like coughing, but nothing came after that... then, just like the usual scammers, they hung up. The past couple of calls showed UK area numbers, but played the same recorded warning about card fraud - saying someone’s made two charges, one for £14.99 and another for £700. They asked to press 1 to speak or 2 for details. I waited but no reply, then they just disconnected like all the other dodgy calls.

Got a call from this number, saying someone at my place has been casting votes for Strictly Come Dancing or something like that. Bit random, but maybe a telemarketer trying to be clever? Definitely felt like a weird prank or just a wrong number!

On my PlusNet bill, I noticed three calls from numbers I didn’t recognise, all supposedly made on 9th December at around 21:01, 21:04, and 21:05. The thing is, I never made any calls from my landline at those times, yet I got charged for them. The numbers showing up were 09015 225203, 09015 225213, and again 09015 225203. Quite frustrating!

Just like everyone else, I've been billed for three calls to that number, but I never actually dialled it.

Had a look and turns out it was the missus ringing up. She’s been putting votes through for three different contestants on Strictly!

Twice rang me up saying the police were coming to nab me for dodging taxes - number was 0901 5525203. Proper panic caused!

I’ve noticed my Plusnet bill has three separate calls from this number all within a couple of minutes around 8.05 to 8.07, spread over three days. I’m not sure why these charges appeared because I don’t remember getting calls from this number. After seeing the comments here I realise that I must have actually dialled this number when voting on Strictly Come Dancing - my bad!

I’ve seen three separate calls from this number showing up on my Plusnet bill, all between 8.05 and 8.07 but on different days. I’m a bit puzzled as I don’t remember receiving any calls from them at all. Does anyone know what might be happening here?

On the 21st October 2017, around 8:15 in the evening, I got a ring from this number. They never said a word, and the call only showed for 4 seconds on my phone bill - but I still got charged 26p for it. Talk Talk really ought to put a stop to this nonsense. Honestly, why don’t these folks find themselves a real job?
