2 yearsI’ve been billed for four supposed 'calls' to this number, despite the fact that we’ve never actually dialled it. It’s quite baffling, really!5 yearsThis number has shown up on my mum's phone statement, yet she hasn't a clue who it belongs to.8 yearsI stumbled upon this number on my bill and had no clue what it was for. Turns out, it’s a helpline for sorting out crossword clues! My missus finally admitted it when I questioned her about it!8 yearsI’ve noticed that this particular number seems to be phoning my mum - she suffers from dementia, so I know it’s not her making the calls. Her phone has a blocker that alerted me to it being dialled 'on her line', and they even let through a call that lasted an astonishing 300 minutes at a premium rate! After I blocked that number, lo and behold, another dodgy number popped up, racking up a call of 250 minutes. I’ve gone ahead and reported this shady business to Action Fraud along with her service provider.Action Fraud8 yearsI've had a right nuisance with this number, receiving calls from them five times now. Every time I've picked up the phone, I've realised it's just another unwanted call and promptly hung up without saying a word. To add insult to injury, BT has charged me £1.30 for each of these calls! What steps can I take to put an end to this relentless calling? I'm not particularly savvy with technology, and being of an older generation, it's quite overwhelming. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!BTSubmit Your Own Report (0901 292 5204)
