This number is completely unfamiliar to me. On my EE statement, it's labelled as SC38. Somehow, I've been billed £2.93 for a call that lasted just under two minutes, around 1 minute and 49 seconds or so.

Never called this number before, who’s it supposed to be?

Got a call from this number and ended up with a £2.68 charge from EE for just over a minute and a half. I never actually called them though.

Sounds like a total scam... rang me and ended up costing me!

I noticed on my phone bill that this number rang me on the 14th of December, twice nearly back-to-back at 5:02pm and 5:05pm, lasting about 41 seconds and then a bit over a minute. They charged me £1.10 and £1.77 for those calls. I'm with EE, and my bill reference is SC38. Honestly, I don’t remember making or receiving any calls to this number.
