some bloke rang saying he was from virgin’s tech support about my internet. wanted me to fiddle with my router or something. said i was busy with work so couldn’t do it right then. he said he’d ring back later, but i told him i’d just call virgin on 150 myself. he said i’d be waiting ages to get connected though. i just told him fine and hung up.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Broadband. They said there was an issue with my router and wanted me to give them access to my device. Then they mentioned sending a technician over but insisted on accessing my machine first. I just told them I'd call Virgin myself and hung up.

Got a call from this number around 8.30am today, and the bloke on the line said he was from Microsoft. He spoke very quietly and had an Indian accent. He told me their system showed I was getting error messages while using broadband. I told him no, I haven’t even been online in a few days. Definitely a scam, so I ended the call.

Twice today I got calls from this number but it showed no ID. Didn’t answer since I had no idea who it was!

I usually don't pick up calls from unknown numbers so have no clue who this might be. If someone was really trying to get hold of me, they'd leave a voicemail but honestly that never happens.
