Received a call from this number earlier today. A woman with quite an Asian accent asked how I was doing, claiming she was ringing from BT Openreach. I informed her that I wasn't a customer of theirs, and just like that, the line went silent. I promptly ended the call and subsequently blocked the number on my BT call blocking device.

Got a call claiming to be from BT Openreach about my messed-up internet. I played along, kept them chatting for more than 10 minutes, pretending to do what they said on some site like [#ljoin{###]. Eventually it dawned on me I was wasting my time so I just ended the call, and they didn’t sound too happy, throwing a few rude words my way before hanging up.
