I've been getting calls from 08821622776339 for the past 3 days, they just ring once then cut off. I'm actually located in Australia, so it's a bit odd. I’ve decided to block the number now.

I spotted this number listed on my O2 statement-£22 for a 13-minute chat! Apparently, it’s an UAE number, according to O2. The thing is, I haven’t made any such call and I don’t know a soul in the UAE. O2 is looking into it, but they seem to reckon I’ll still be liable for the charge. I'm planning to ring Ofcom about it, especially since I hear others have experienced calls from this same number.

My phone showed a missed call but it never actually rang. Looks like the number was from Taiwan, so I just blocked it straight away.
