Got a missed call so I rang back, but it was just some robot repeating ‘hello, hello’ over and over. Really weird!

this isnt some dodgy promo call! its actually a satellite trying to contact "nome" to send over some data. when you pick up it ends the call since it’s looking for a specific signal to begin transferring coded info. super annoying but no threat at all. if older folks get anxious about calls like this, just reassure them calmly. sadly, these satellites could be launched from anywhere, and if they’re military, nobody’s gonna confirm it!

Got a call early this morning at 5:30am from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just blocked it straight away.
